For over 20 years, Mary Gee has called Jefferson County home—raising her family and serving her community. She left her career to homeschool her children, but before that, she served as a **federal auditor** with the GSA Office of Inspector General, fighting waste, fraud, and abuse while promoting fiscal responsibility, efficiency, and transparency in government.
As a Republican Mary’s priorities include:
Mary's community involvement is extensive - ranging from tutoring students for the GED and SAT, to preserving historic sites, volunteering as an animal caretaker with the Audobon Society, particpating in Read Aloud WV, supporting local farmers, and protecting our local natural resources. She has been a driving force in notifying and educating residents on harmful extension cord transmission projects, hosting town halls, giving presentation to both the Jefferson County Commission and the City of Charles Town, partnering with the Jefferson County Foundation and Protect Middleway to notify residents about a commercial water bottling facility in Middleway, all while advocating for balanced growth that respects Jefferson County's heritage and rural character.
Mary’s professional expertise and grassroots dedication make her a strong, trusted voice for Jefferson County’s future.
